Procedure

1. Obtain all necessary documents for the divorce.
2. Submit your application along with all other requirements.
3. Once the notice of the granting of the divorce is received, the parties may bring the endorsement of the divorce to the office where the marriage was registered.

• Application with signature recognized by the Notary
• Certificate issued by the Court
• Birth Certificate (spouse)

Applications for a divorce are submitted to the Civil Registry - DNRN.

Need for the Document

Dissolution of marriage or divorce is the termination of marital union between married couple. It results in cancellation of all legal duties and responsibilities between husband and wife.

In Angola, spouses can apply for a divorce with both parties agreeing to the dissolution of their union.
