ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. Approach the respective EASTERN POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANY OF ANDHRA PRADESH LTD. (APEPDCL) or SOUTHERN POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANY OF A.P LTD (APSPDCL) to register your complaint regarding the faulty electricity meter.
  2. Refer to the “Office Locations & Contacts” section in this procedure to see the respective address and contact details.
  3. Record the complaint according to the office guidelines.
  4. Once the complaint is recorded the consumer will be provided with an acknowledgement which needs to be kept safe until further notice.
  5. The request will be taken care of by the respective authority.
  6. A technician will visit on the address mentioned in the application to inspect the electricity meter.
  7. If the electricity meter is found faulty, it is removed and taken to the department lab for checking.
  8. The department will inform to the consumer to either collect the repaired meter or the replaced meter until which the consumer needs to wait until further notice from the department.
  9. The consumer must follow the department notice and regulations to get the electricity meter fixed.

  1. To register your complaint online at APSPDCL navigate to the link Link
  2. Click on “Register Complaints” tab.
  3. Sign In/ Sign Up using appropriate personal credentials.
  4. Once signed in fill up all the required information.
  5. Refer to the “Required Information” section in this procedure to fill the required details.
  6. Click on submit button.
  7. After filling out all the details and uploading required photos or documents, click on the submit button.
  8. The complaint is now fully submitted.
  9. After the complaint is submitted the fuse man will visit for the inspection of the faulty meter and replace the meter from the local or centralized location.

  1. To register your complaint online at APEPDCL navigate to the link Link
  2. Click on “Customers”, “Complaint Related” and then on “Register a Complaint”.
  3. Click on the Link to request a call.
  4. Enter your name, contact number and request type as “Meter Related”.
  5. Click on submit button.
  6. The responsible officer will assign the task to the concerned department/officials and see to it that the problem is attended to immediately.
  7. Upon successful registration, a unique registration number will be generated and provided to the customer, which is to be retained for status enquiry.
  8. After the complaint is submitted the fuse man will visit for the inspection of the faulty meter and replace the meter from the local or centralized location.
