Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for an Employee Verification in Andhra Pradesh, one can visit the nearest Police station Police Stations
2. Get the specified form for Employee verification.
3. In the procured form, fill the required information of the employer.
4. Fill the required information of the employee
5. Attach the passport size photographs and photo id proofs.
6. Pay the required processing fee.
7. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
8. Follow up to know the status of your report, and visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
   

Note: Make sure you carry the original Id proofs with you for cross verification.

Apply In-Person (Via MeeSeva Centre)

1. To apply for an Employee Verification in Andhra Pradesh, one has to visit a Meeseva centre.
2. You could find the list of Meeseva centres from the link: AP Meeseva centres.
3. Get the specified form for Job verification certificate.
4. In the procured form, provide the required information of the employer.
5. Provide the required information of the employee
6. Provide the passport size photographs and photo id proofs.
7. Pay the required processing fee.
8. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
9. You will receive a notification on your registered mobile number or email Id once the report is ready.
10. Visit the Meeseva Centre to get the report once it is ready.
    
    

Apply Online

1. To apply for an Employee Verification online, one has to login to Andhra Pradesh MeeSeva Portal : Apply Online
2. If you are a new user, create a new user account with your details by selecting “New Registration”, fill your details and click on submit.
3. Now select issuance of a certificate from the link and login with your user Id and password: Police Department Services.
4. Fill all the required details of the employer in the given window.
5. Fill the required details of the employee.
6. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified file size and format (Check required documents section for further details).
7. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
8. Pay the required processing fee.
9. After submission, you will receive your Service Request No. through SMS or E-Mail.
10. You can check the status of your application in the portal.
11. You will receive the report in your Email Id when its ready or you could download it from the portal.

• Electricity Bill
• Water Bill
• Telephone Bill
• Residence Certificate Issued By SDM/Teshildar
• Any photo identity proof of the employee and the employer from the following:
• Aadhaar card
• Driving Licence
• Ration card
• Voter ID

Eligibility

Fees

• Processing fee for Employee Verification Rs.100.

Validity

• There is no validity period for this Verification Report.
• It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
• The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

Need for the Document

• While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with police before employing them.
• This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

• When one applies for such verification, the police verifies the submitted information and the employee’s details are stored with the police.
• This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
• Usually, in the event of a crime, the police would be left with zero information about the employee's details. However, the information gained through the employee registration process would help the police to track such crimes.
