Procedure

A land Valuation certificate will help in working out its fair and reasonable current market value.

Apply through Meeseva

1. Following link can provide you information related to nearest Meeseva Centres: Meeseva center link please click on the number provided against district name for contact details.
2. Applicant can also download the application form from the following link: Application Link
3. Fill the application form and attach all the required documents
4. Go to your Meeseva center. Submit the completed application enclosing entire required document as per our “required document” section and submit it along with the fees as applicable. Meeseva operator will do the online process.
5. The applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get transaction number as text message on his registered mobile number.
6. Please save it for future reference.
7. The online details will be processed by respective department.
8. Applicant shall use the application number and transaction id to know the current status of his application in the following link : Link for status
9. After processing, the certificate will be created. Once the certificate is sealed and signed, applicant shall get his or her Certificate from Meeseva center by producing the acknowledgement.
   

Note: The valuation for a land can be obtained instantly but to get a certificate being signed by the nodal authority will take time.

Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Land Valuation Certificate, the applicant has to approach their district tahsildar/assistant tahsildar/naib tahsildar office link
   • Note: The applicant has to Select their respective district to find nearby Office to them.
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference, it contains the application summary and contact details of the person to be contacted.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets the Certificate with the authority's signature through email.

Processing Time

• The land valuation certificate may be used as collateral for availing education loans from banks.
• The land valuation certificate may be required for income tax purposes.
• The land valuation certificate is a necessary legal document which is the certification that the property/land has been entered in to the Register of Land Values.
