Apply Online - For Book an Appointment
- To Apply for Aadhar Card (UID), the applicant is required to book an appointment for enrolment centre by following link
- After opening the above-mentioned link, the applicant needs to select their respective city/location.
- After selecting the location click on the “Proceed to Book Appointment” button.
- The page is redirected, provide your mobile number and enter the “Captcha”.
- Once the details are entered, click “Generate OTP” button.
- Now enter the “OTP Number” and click “Verify OTP” button.
- After OTP verification enter your Aadhar card number, personal details and fix your time in the time slot for appointment and review your appointment details.
- The applicant needs to Pay rupees 50 INR online for appointment.
- It is mandatory to bring the copy of the appointment order during the appointment.
Apply Through CSC centre
- To Apply for Aadhar Card (UID), the applicant has to approach nearby Common Service Center (CSC) Link
- Note: The applicant has to select their state, district and block from the drop-down menu or the applicant can click on their respective district to find nearby center.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant has to provide their details to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
- The applicant has to attach or provide the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page (If required).
- Submit the completed application, document and applicable fees to the centre staff.
- Application submitted will be processed and receipt with application number will be issued.
- The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about date of visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.
Apply Through Mobile App
- The applicant willing to Apply for Aadhar Card (UID) must download the UIDAI mobile app
- The applicant can download the app from play store using the following Link: Link
- To start the application the applicant has to enter their mobile number and OTP.
- Next the applicant has to click “Book an Appointment” menu.
- The page is redirected, provide your mobile number and enter the “Captcha”.
- Once the details are entered, click “Generate OTP” button.
- Now enter the “OTP Number” and click “Verify OTP” button.
- After OTP verification enter your Aadhar card number, personal details and fix your time in the time slot for appointment and review your appointment details.
- The applicant needs to Pay rupees 50 INR online for appointment.
- It is mandatory to bring the copy of the appointment order during the appointment.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Aadhaar card is an initiative by the government to organize citizen.
- Unique Identification Authority of India, issues this card. It is a 12 digit identity contains combination of numbers and alphabets.
- Aadhaar card is mandatory in opening bank account.
- Aadhaar card is useful in most of the application for obtaining voter id, ration card, pan card, Land registration, Driving license, Vehicle registration and more.
- If in case your Aadhaar card is lost / damaged / misplaced, one has to apply for duplicate Aadhaar card
