Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain Driver License Extract, you have to approach the nearest RTO office of your area.

3. Please make sure you are eligible to make the application by going through the eligibility criteria provided under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
4. Apply for DL Extract in writing on aA4 paper by affixing 5 rupee stamp on the top right corner of your requisition letter.
5. Get the application form from the concerned officer or write it on an A4 sheet.
6. Now submit the completed application forms and attach all the Required Documents as mentioned in the Required Documents section along with the form and submit it to the RTO office.
7. Pay the appropriate fees as per authorities quotes.
8. The authorities will process your application.
9. After all the process the authorities will Issue the DL Extract.

Apply Online:

1. To obtain driver license extract (DL Extract) in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the applicant has to follow the link: Link
2. On the "Drivers/Learners License" option, click "more" to proceed.
3. A new page will open with the following link: Link where the applicant needs to select the state name as "Andaman & Nicobar Islands" to proceed.
4. Now click on the "DL Extract" button to process the application further.
5. Click on the "Continue" button to get the application.
6. Enter the appropriate choices for DL extract in the field provided and proceed to the next page.
7. The applicant must fill in all the necessary details and "Upload Documents" by clicking on the respective fields as provided.
8. Now upload a photograph and Signature if required (applicable for only some states).
9. After that, the applicant is required to pay the requisite Fee and verify the payment status.
10. Now print the receipt and keep it for future reference.
11. The changes will be made and the applicant will be notified about the status of the application via the portal.
12. The applicant may obtain the DL Extract from the portal or contact the concerned office.
