Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Find Lost or Forgot Driver License Number, the applicant has to make their application online via theparivahan portal Link
2. The applicant must click “More” in other services from the License Related Services.
3. Then the applicant must select the respective state from the drop-down menu.
4. On the next tab, the applicant must click “DL Search” from the other menu option.
5. On the next page, the applicant must enter all the details and click the “Search” button.
6. Now, the applicant can check the driver's license number and other details.
7. The fee for finding a lost or forgotten driver's License Number is free of cost.
8. The entire processing time to Find a Lost or forgotten driver's License Number is complete within a few minutes.

Apply In Person

1. To Find Lost or Forgot Driver License Number, the applicant has to approach the respective state RTO Office, Department of Transport link
2. The applicant has to visit the office with the request letter.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.(If required)
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
