- To Apply for National Assessment and Accreditation Council Accreditation, the applicant has to make their application online via link
- The applicant has to scroll down below and click the “Apply” button.
- If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “New Registration” button.
- Enter all the registration details and click the “Proceed” button.
- Now the applicant has to log in with the email and password, captcha code, and click the “Login” button.
- The applicant has to select the form from the menu list.
- Enter all the details in the application form.
- And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
- Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- NAAC may conduct a peer review assessment visit to your institution. During this visit, a peer team appointed by NAAC will evaluate your institution's facilities, programs, and processes.
- The peer team will submit a report based on their assessment visit. This report will be considered in the accreditation process.
- NAAC's Executive Committee will review the SSR, peer team report, and other relevant documents to make an accreditation decision. Accreditation can be awarded in various grades (A++, A+, A, B++, B+, B, C, or D), with 'A' being the highest grade.
- If the institution meets the accreditation criteria, the applicant will receive the accreditation status and grade from NAAC.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit
To be eligible to apply for National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Accreditation in India, an institution must meet the following criteria:
- Be a university, college, or other institution of higher education that is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
- It has been in existence for at least five years.
- Have a permanent campus with adequate infrastructure and facilities.
- Have a qualified and experienced faculty.
