Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain duplicate income certificate, applicant should visit the Tehsildar office of their district.
2. Link for contact: South Andaman, North and Middle Andaman and Nicobar
   
3. Applicant should approach the concerned authorities in the CSC centre at tehsildar office and write a letter to the Tehsildar stating the reason for applying for duplicate income certificate.
4. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
5. Now get the appropriate application form from the officer and attach all the necessary documents.
6. Submit the application form to the authorities and pay the appropriate fees.
7. Now collect the acknowledgment slip from the authorities.
8. After the verification process, applicant shall receive the duplicate copy of income certificate.
   

Note: If the validity of your lost / damaged income certificate is going to expire in few days then you can apply for fresh income certificate by using the web copy or the acknowledgment slip of the lost / damaged income certificate.

Instructions

• Visit the tehsildhar office of your taluk to obtain the duplicate copy of the income certificate.
• Never apply for fresh income certificate before the expiry of available income certificate. If you apply, your application will get rejected and you may face some difficulties later.
