Procedure

Following are the ways through which you can apply for demarcation of land (Sub-Division of Land) in Andaman and Nicobar.

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for the demarcation of land (Sub-Division of Land) approach the concerned Tehsildar officer which is regulated under the Department of District Collectorate.
2. Applicant has to visit the concerned tehsildar office and apply for demarcation of land by affixing a court-fee stamp of 75 paisa and mention the address with contact number on the application.
3. Download the recent copy of Form-F of the land from the given link- Form-F
4. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
5. Submit the form to the District Collectorate office along with the required documents.

8. Once, the application is submitted, notice is sent to the neighboring properties and local RI (Revenue Inspector) Office in order to verify the neighboring plots and the land that you are applying for demarcation.
9. Once it is verified, the local RI contacts you on your mobile number or on your postal address to confirm about your application.
10. Once it is confirmed, a person is assigned from the local RI office to demarcate your land on a specific date when both the person and the Applicant are free.
11. On the particular day that person will come along with the map of the locality.
12. With the tools he will measure and demarcate the land.
    
    

Apply through Centres

1. To apply for a division of land, the applicant is required to visit the nearest CSC centre in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Locate the nearest CSC centre district wise in the following link: Link
2. An application form will be filled out by the CSC Operator on behalf of the applicant.
3. The completed application form along with other necessary documents shall be produced to a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE).
4. Make sure to carry all the necessary documents listed under the "Required Documents" section of this page while visiting the office.
5. The applicant will be notified about further processing once the application is made.
6. Details related to obtaining the certificate will be communicated through the applicant's phone number.

• For house site Rs.10/-.
• Agricultural land up to 2 hectare Rs.25/-.
• Agricultural land between 2 hectares to 4 hectares Rs.50/-
