Procedure

APPLY IN PERSON:

1. To apply for agriculture electricity connection in person visit ELECTRICITY BOARD OFFICE in your respective area
2. The address and contact details of the office can be found in ‘’Office and Contact Details” section of this page
3. Visit the Office and get the Application form for Agricultural Electricity Connection from the relevant department or you can download the application form from the following link: Link
4. Please fill the application with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant along with all the partner’s signature
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page. Attach all the important documents mentioned
6. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials or you can find the required fee in “Fee Details” section of this page
7. And your application and attached documents will be passed for verification to check if the land and area is eligible for the type of connection proposed
8. After successful registration, an acknowledgement mentioning the registration number and date of registration will be given to the applicant
9. Now, concerned officials will approve the application and orders will be issued.

1. To apply for agricultural electricity connection online visit the following link: Link
2. Under online services click on Apply for fresh (new ) meter
3. You will be directed to ‘Online application for Electric Connection’ (EC)
4. Click on proceed for fresh connection
5. On the opened page Fill the application with relevant details
6. Under Category connection select Agriculture. Now fill the Applicants’s details and agricultural premises details correctly
7. Also fill the wiring details appropriately and click on the small square under ‘declaration’
8. Now click on “Proceed”
9. Now you will be asked to Upload Scanned Copy of supporting Documents as displayed on the screen.

   • Record of Right/Form F (if own building/ Legal Heir/ Joint Property)
   • Rent/Lease Agreement (in case of rented/ leased accomodation )
   • NOC from owner (in case of rented/ leased accomodation )
   • for Obtaining Electric Connection (in case of Enchroched Land)
   • Tribal Council Certificate (in case of Tribal Area)
   • Quarter Allotment Order (in case of Govt. Quarter)
   • Copy of Aadhar Card
   • Please keep all the documents ready before applying Online.

10. After successful completion, portal will allot a Unique Application No. which can be used to track the Status of your application Online
11. The Department will process your application & approve it Online based on which Sanction Order will be Generated by the Portal.

NOTE: Kindly contact the Chief Engineer/Operation and Maintenance Officer of your nearest electricity board. Contact details of the Officers can be obtained from the above website. Please select your district and respective area officer and proceed accordingly.

Eligibility

• Any person who wishes to set up a new electricity connection in their agricultural land can apply.
• The shareholders of the land should possess a no objection certificate sworn before the Executive Engineer/Operation and Maintenance Office of the jurisdiction concerned.
• The certificate should be obtained after verification from the Village Administrative Officer.

Fees

• Charge differs with requirement. So, authorities will estimate and will give actual figure for getting connection

Validity
