Procedure

How to apply:

1. Applicants can request a water connection from the Algeria water and sanitation company (SEAAL) agency on the address of theircurrent or future business or residential premises
2. Visit SEAAL agency near the premises and request for assistances, you will be issued with an application form fill out the details accurately, attach the require documents copies and submit them to the attending official
3. If your connection meets the “standard” connection you will be invoiced on the basis of a package, if not a technical team will be sent to the premise’s to determine the quotation connection fees
4. Upon payment of the fees; on schedule date a technical team will be sent to the premise’s and the layout of the connection will be set and a your meter activated

• A copy of your ID.
• A copy of your deed of ownership or your title of occupation (title of ownership, rental contract, allocation decision or building permit)
• A legalized copy of the commercial register. (Register if your subscription request concerns a business.)
• Proof of payment of connection fees

Fees

A “standard” connection (without network extension or specific execution constraints) will be invoiced on the basis of a package:

• Water connection cost 20,000 DA excluding taxes (2014 prices)
• Cost of sanitation connection 40,000 DA excluding taxes (2014 prices).

If your connection cannot be made in a “standard” way orfornon-domestic usea SEAAL technician will go on site to make a quote.

Validity

• Water and sanitation connection are valid as long as one makes monthly payments in time to avoid disconnection of the services

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You sell your apartment or your house, or you move, you must terminate your subscription contract. To do this, simply go to your SEAAL agency with the following documents:

• A water bill.
• Copy of your ID.

A reading of the index of your water meter will be made to establish your account termination invoice, and your connection will be closed. You will have to pay for consumption for the period not yet invoiced, as well as, if applicable, for all of your previous unpaid invoices.

Other uses of the Document/Certificate

• Water and sewage monthly bills can be used as proof of residences
