  1. To apply for the Indigenous Languages and Cultures Program (Indigenous Languages Component), the applicant can approach the Department of Canadian Heritage. Here is the contact Link
  2. The applicant will need to contact the department of Canadian Heritage to obtain the application form. Find contact details under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
  3. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
  4. The applicant will need to attach digital copies of all required documents. Find a list of documents in the application form.
  5. Submit the completed application form and documents to the following email address: [email protected]
  6. The applicant does not need to pay fees.
  7. Once submitted, the application form will be forwarded to the relevant authorities.
  8. The applicant shall receive all communications and their results by email. It will take two weeks to process the application.
