Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Grazing Permit or License (GRP) in person, the applicant has to visit the Land Policy and Programs Branch of the Alberta Environment and Parks.

- The applicant has to visit the office and obtain an Application for General Assignment of Disposition from the respective department. Or click here to download Application form
- While visiting the office, the applicants should carry the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to complete the application with required details in respective fields under each section and submit it to the relevant official with the required documents.
- During the submission, the official will inform the amount of fees to be paid for the licence. The applicant has to pay the required fees, through any of the available payment modes.
- Then, the submitted application and attached documents will be assessed and verified.
- Upon completion of the assessment and verification, the applicant will be intimated through phone or email to collect the approved Grazing Licence/Permit.

EligibilityEdit
- Any person in Alberta, who wishes to use public lands for grazing of livestock, can apply.
FeesEdit
- During the submission, the official will inform the amount of fees to be paid for the licence. The applicant has to pay the required fees, through any of the available payment modes.
ValidityEdit
- Grazing Licence/permit is issued for one year.
