Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Farm Implement Distributor Licence in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Alberta Agricultureand Forestry.

- The applicant has to visit the office and obtain the application form for Farm Implement Distributor Licence, from the relevant department. Or click here to download: Application form
- While visiting the office, the applicants should carry the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to complete the application with required details in respective fields under each section.
- After that, the applicant should attach the required documents with the completed form and submit it to the relevant official with the required documents.
- Then, the applicant should pay the fees of 50 dollars for the licence through any of the available payment modes.
- Then, the submitted application and attached documents will be assessed and verified.
- Upon completion of the assessment and verification, the applicant will be intimated through phone or email to collect theapproved Farm Implement Distributor Licence.

- Individuals or organizations in Alberta, that intends to act as distributors of Farm Implements like harvesters, disk harrows, cultivators, seed drills, etc., must possess a license obtained from the Farm Implement Act Administration office.

- The licences are issued annually and distributors must pay a licence fee to the Government of Alberta and an annual levy to the Farm Implement Compensation Fund.
