Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Electroplating Plant Approval in person, the applicant has to contact the Regulatory Approvals Centre.
2. The contact link can be found below Contact link
3. The applicant has to contact the office. The official may require the applicant to visit their office.
4. While visiting the office, the applicants should carry the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Visit the office and approach the relevant official who is responsible of receiving applications for Electroplating Plant Approval.
6. The official will direct the applicant to complete the respective application for obtaining the Electroplating Plant Approval.
7. The applicant has to complete the application with required details in respective fields under each section and submit it to the official with the required documents.
8. The applicant has to pay the required fees of $1000 for the approval, through any of the available payment modes.
9. Then, the submitted application and attached documents will be assessed and verified.
10. Upon completion of the assessment and verification, the applicant will be intimated through phone or email to collect the Electroplating Plant Approval.

Eligibility

• Owner of the company or an authorized representative can apply for the approval.
• The plant facility should have been set up with all the safety measures as per the standards stipulated for Electroplating plants.

Fees

• The applicant has to pay the required fees of $1000 for the approval, through any of the available payment modes.

Validity

• Approvals can be issued for a maximum of 10 years.
