- To apply for a Catch certificate, the applicant will need to register with the FCS system. Here is the contact Link
- The applicant will need to log in using their credentials.
- If the applicant does not have an account, follow these steps:
- On the page, select the preferred mode to log in.
- Once selected, the applicant will be directed to another page, click on the “Sign up” option.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and enter a username, click on “Continue”.
- Enter the password and other details such as security questions and click on “Continue”.
- The applicant’s account will be created, they will automatically be directed to their account page.
- Once logged in, click on the “Self-registration” option.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
- The applicant will be directed to the application page, enter all the relevant details and click on “Next”.
- The applicant will need to enter their postal code, enter this and click on “Next”.
- Enter all the other details as and when prompted.
- Submit the completed application form, find further information regarding the application form by contacting the authorities. Find the contact information under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- Once the applicant has submitted all the information they will have to register their account.
- The applicant will automatically be directed to this page, select the option that applies to the applicant.
- The applicant will be prompted to enter further details, enter all the relevant information and click on “Submit”.
- The applicant will receive a terms and conditions form, that they need to sign, this will be automatically sent to them. If the applicant does not receive the form they can click on the link under the “Required Document” section of this page. The form needs to be mailed to the address mentioned on the last page of the form.
- The fee has to be paid as per the authority’s request
- Once submitted, the applicant may need to submit additional information, this will be told to the applicant by the authorities.
- Once the application has been approved, the applicant can log in to their Canadian Catch certificate program account and apply for a catch certificate.
- It may take a few weeks to process the application.
