- To apply for AgriDiversity Program online, the applicant has to first download the online application form by clicking the following Application form
- The applicant has to download the application form and complete it on their system in the Adobe reader application itself.
- The form will contain all the sections that arerequired to apply for the program and the applicant should complete each section by entering the required details in the respective fields.
- The applicant can jump to any section by just clicking that tab on the top of the application form.
- So, the applicant has to complete the application form by following the on-screen instructions.
- Also, the applicant has to attach the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page, by clicking the “Paperclip” icon present on the left side of the application form.
- Once completed all the sections, the applicant have to click “Submit” button to submit the completed application form.
- The application process is free and the applicant need not pay anything to apply for the program.
- After submitting the application, the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada(AAFC) will verify and review the application package against the principles and criteria of the program.
- Within the next day, the department will send an acknowledgement email to the applicant’s email address, for the receipt of the application.
- The processing of the application takes place for minimum 100 business days and once it is over, the applicant will receive a final approval or rejection in writingfrom AAFC.
- AAFC would send a payment to the applicant within 30 business days of receipt of a duly completed and documented claim.
Apply through email
- To apply for Agri Diversity Program through email, the applicant has to forward an application to the email address of the AgriDiversity Program.

- The Department will send the application package to the applicant through any of the applicable modes.
- After receiving the forms, the applicant has to complete each form by providing the required details in the provided fields, as applicable.
- Make sure that all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page, are available.
- Once completed filling the required forms, all of them along with the required documents should be sent to the above-mentioned email address.
- The application process is free and the applicant need not pay anything to apply for the program.

EligibilityEdit
- Not-for-profit organizations belonging to associations, indigenous groups and official language minority communities that operate nationally in Canada are eligible.
- Applicants must be legal entities capable of entering into legally binding agreements.
- The total funding for an applicant from the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) should not exceed $200000.

- Please note that even if a project meets all eligibility criteria, the submission of an application creates no obligation on the part of the Minister or of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada officials to provide funding for the proposed project.
- Applicants that did not receive the acknowledgement must contact the program office.
- Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada does not have the authority to reimburse recipients for costs incurred until a Contribution Agreement is signed, even if an approval is granted.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- The main purpose of the Agri Diversity Program is to help some specific groups in Canadian agriculture by concentrating on the key issues and barriers they often face for their participation in the agriculture sector.
- These groups include youth, women, Indigenous People, and persons with disabilities. They are often termed as under-represented or marginalized groups.
- The program benefits can be obtained by applying formally to the Agri Diversity Program in the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

- Applications will be accepted from February 13, 2018 until September 30, 2022, or until funding has been fully committed or until otherwise announced by the program. The program ends March 31, 2023.
- If approved, support is available in the form of non-repayable contributions support from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC).
