Apply In Person

  1. To Obtain National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass in Alabama, the applicant has to approach nearby Interagency Passes centre link


Note:
The applicant selects the state and pass type to find the nearest centre by them.

  1. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authorized officer.
  2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
  3. Make sure the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
  4. The applicant should attach the photocopies of the required documents while submitting.
  5. The fee for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
  6. The authority will review the application form, upon successful completion the authority will issue the Senior pass.
  7. The processing time of this procedure takes up to 1 to 2 weeks to get a hard copy of the pass in hand.


Apply by Mail

  1. The applicant has to download and complete the application form by using the following link
  2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
  3. Make sure the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. After completing the application form the applicant has to send the application form to USGS, Attn: Senior Pass, Box 25286, Denver, CO 80225
  5. The cost of obtaining a Senior Pass through the mail is $10 for processing the application (the Pass is free)
  6. The processing time of this procedure takes up to 1 to 2 weeks to get a hard copy of a pass in hand.


Apply Online

  1. The applicant can purchase the lifetime Senior pass online via following link or the applicant can buy annual senior pass via the following link
  2. The applicant has to click the menu “Add Product to Cart” to add the product.
  3. Then the applicant has to click the cart icon which is in the top right corner of the page.
  4. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee of $80 for lifetime annual pass or $20 for annual senior pass.
  5. Once the payment is successful the application will receive the hardcopy of the Senior pass by mail.


Note: The Interagency Passes will not be available for immediate download or printing. A physical pass will be shipped to the applicant.

EligibilityEdit

  • US citizens or permanent residents 62 years or older are eligible for the Senior Pass.



FeesEdit

  • The fee to purchase a lifetime senior pass online is $80.00 and annual senior pass for $20.
  • The cost of obtaining an Access Pass through the mail is $10 for processing the application (the Pass is free).



ValidityEdit

  • The validity of the Lifetime senior Pass is forever and annual senior pass is for one year.

  • Applicants must complete the application form before submitting it. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  • Applicants must provide genuine information while applying for this procedure.
  • Each Annual Pass admits pass owner/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas; and pass owner + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, where per-person fees are charged. (Children under 16 are always admitted free).

  • Federal Recreational Lands Passes. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees (day use fees) at national forests and grasslands and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
