  1. To Request for obtaining Certificate for Export to Taiwan, the applicant has to approach the Food Safety and Inspection Service U.S. Department of Agriculture. Contact details are mentioned in “Office Locations & Contacts” of this page. Or use the following given Contact Link
  2. An application form is available at the following Link
  3. The applicant has to fill-in the details in the form.
  4. Applicant should make sure to have all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
  5. E-Mail the application along with the required documents to the address on the application.
  6. E-Mailing address is mentioned in “Office Locations & Contacts” of this page.
  7. The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) veterinarian will issue the certificate.
  8. Please contact Food Safety and Inspection Service U.S. Department of Agriculture for fee, processing time and further details.

  • FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate.
  • In addition to FSIS 9060-5 and FSIS 9285-1, obtain an FSIS letterhead certificate.

  • Export product must be less than 30 months of age.
  • Casings must be from animals killed in the United States.
  • Casings must be processed in one of the Mexican establishments listed below:

    • TIF # 130
Empaques M.C.H., S.A. de C.V.
Zaragoza, Coah.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Only after obtaining this certificate can a product be exported from the United States to Taiwan.
  • Exporters from the United States should make sure that the items do not leave the country until the veterinarian has signed the certificate.

  • After the cargo has shipped, Taiwan regulatory authorities will not recognise this certificate verified by the veterinarian.
