- To Obtain Canadian Border Boat Landing Permit or License, the applicant has to approach the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY U.S. Customs and Border Protection link
- Note: The applicant has to click on their respective Port of Entry in their state on the map.
- The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to enter all the details in the application form.
- Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- The applicant has to get an appointment for site inspection. The nearest office details are mentioned in the following link
- NOTE: Call the nearest office to get the appointment.
- Submit all the necessary documents along with the application form to the nearest office.
- All the family members have to visit for the inspection. If the applicant is below the age of 14, then it is not needed.
- Once all the process gets done by the officer, the applicant gets notification through mail.
- The fee for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- The applicant has to visit the office to get the permit or it can be sent it through mail.
- The processing time for this procedure will vary according to the interview and checking of database.

The person who is
- United States citizens
- Lawful Permanent Residents of the United States
- Canadian citizens, Canadian Permanent Residents of Canada, and
- Landed Residents of Canada who are nationals of Visa Waiver Pilot Program countries, who also have a valid Form I-94W, Visa Waiver Arrival-Departure Record, or Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record if they were previously admitted with a valid unexpired visa, are eligible.
FeesEdit
- The fee for an individual form is $16.00.
- The maximum amount payable by family (husband, wife, unmarried children under 21 years of age, parents of either husband or wife) is $32.
- NOTE: The applicant age of 14 and above needs to use separate form.
