Procedure

Apply by Mail:

1. To Get Apostille a School Transcript, the applicant must approach the U.S. Department of State Office of Authentications link
2. The applicant has to download the service request form DS – 4194 from the following link
3. The applicant must enter all the details in the application form. Incomplete form is not accepted.
4. Make sure that the applicant must attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant must attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Mail all the necessary documents along with the completed form to the Office of Authentications. The mailing address are given in “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee of $20 for all services.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided to the applicant. Please save it for future reference.
10. Once the process gets completed successfully, the authority will process your request in 10 to 11 weeks from the date the applicant sent the request.

Note: To check the status the applicant can use the following link. The authority will respond to the applicant via email or phone call in the next week. Do not submit a second request while waiting for a response.
