Apply In-Person:
- The applicant has to reach out to Export Certification Specialists or the state of export for the application. Here is the Contact link
- An application form is also available at the following Link
- The applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
- Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
- The fee for this procedure has been mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
- Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
- After getting approval from concerned authorities, certificate will be provided within 1-30 days.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Phytosanitary Certificate is used to
- declare that the domestic plants or plant products have been inspected according to proper processes and are free of quarantine pests, practically free of other injurious pests, and comply with the importing country's current phytosanitary standards.
- Certifying official conducting the inspection.
- Commodities of foreign origin those are re-exported from the United States.

- Reexport certification is not available for shipments of plants and plant products passing the United States under Customs' bond.
- If the destination country requires certification, such shipments should be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin.
