Apply In-Person:
- Application form to Apply for Federal Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grantis available in any nearest college’s financial aid office contact link
- Applicant has to download the form from the following Application form
- Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
- Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
- There is no requirement of any fee for the application.
- Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
- Approval will be provided within 5-7 business days.
- If the approval has not been given within 5-7 business days, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

- If the applicant is a student click on “I am student and want to access the FAFSA form”.
- If the applicant is a parent, click on “I am parent filling out a FAFSA form a student”.
- If the applicant is helping a student’s click on “I am preparer helping a student fill out his or her FAFSA form”.
- If the applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “FSA ID Username, Email, or Mobile Phone” and “Password”.
- If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Create an account” option.
- While registering, applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on “Submit” button.
- Once the registration is successful, applicant can login with their “FSA ID Username, Email, or Mobile Phone” and “Password”.
- After logging in, applicant has to choose the service necessary for them.
- Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure online.
- Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
- Finally, applicant has to click on “Log in” button.
- Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
- After getting approval from concerned authorities, subsidy will be provided within 5-7 business days.

EligibilityEdit
- Lost Parent or Guardian in military service of Iraq or Afghanistan after the event of 9/11.
- Under 24 Years old.
- Applicant who failed to meet the eligibility requirements for a Federal Pell Grant.
FeesEdit
- There is no requirement of any fee for the application.
ValidityEdit
- A student's Validity for an Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant is limited to a total of 12 semesters.

- The Applicant has to complete counselling and sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN).
- The Applicant also has to sign an Agreement to Serve or Repay (Agreement) each year from the day of the applicant application.
