Apply In Person

  1. To Apply for Community Safety Grants, the applicant has to approach the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authority officer.
  3. The applicant has to enter all the necessary details in the application form.
  4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit the application form and the documents to the authority officer.
  7. The program and the inspection team comes for verification process.
  8. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.
  9. Once all the verification is done by the authority, the applicant receives a notification through a mail for getting a certificate.
  10. The applicant has to visit the respective department to collect the certificate within a month.
