Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a Phytosanitary certificate, Applicant shall approach the Provincial office of Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section
2. You have to submit an application request to the Provincial Office of Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
3. The application request shall include the information listed below under the “required information” section.
4. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant shall present the application requestand Documents to the Provincial Office of Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
6. After the application request is processed and accepted, theOfficer in Charge schedules an inspection. Theassigned Inspectorinspectsthe shipment.
7. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee and collect the Phytosanitary Certificate.

The Certificate is valid per shipment or consignment. A new shipment requires a new Phytosanitary Certificate
