Apply Online
- To open a Common Service Center (CSC), the applicant has to make the application online via the following link link
- Once you visited the main page, the applicant has to click “Apply” and click “New Registration”.
- Now select the application type for enrolment from the drop-down menu and enter active mobile number.
- Next enter the captcha as displayed on the screen and click on “submit” to proceed
- The applicant will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on their registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the space provided.
- Next the applicant details on the Kiosk Tab which includes the Kiosk centre, Gram Panchayat details, and location.
- Next the applicant has to enter their bank details under the "Bank" tab.
- Next the applicant has to enter the scanned copies of the documents and geotag the photos of their CSC.
- Now review the applicant and click on "Submit".
- After submitting the applicant needs to pay the registration fee as prescribed.
- The applicant will receive a verification email via their registered email. They need to save the application number for your future reference.
- The processing time of the procedure takes up to 1 month.
- The applicant can check the status of the application by entering the “application reference number” link
Apply Through Registered CSC
- To open a Common Service Center (CSC), the applicant has to approach nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) Link
- Note: The applicant has to select their state, district and block from the drop-down menu or the applicant can click on their respective district to find nearby centre.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
- The applicant has to attach the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page (If required).
- Submit the completed application, document and applicable fees to the centre staff.
- Application submitted will be processed and receipt with application number will be issued.
- The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about date of visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.
- The processing time of the procedure takes up to 1 month.

Eligibility
Eligibility to Participate in CSC Scheme:
- Desirous person should be a local person.
- Applicant must have attained the age of 18 years.
- Person should preferably have passed the Matriculation Level Examination or equivalent from recognized board.
- Applicant should have fluency in reading and writing the local language.
- Should have the basic knowledge of English Language and Computer Skills.
Required CSC Infrastructure shall be as:
- Room/Building having place of 100-150 Sq. Ft.
- Two PCs with UPS with 5 hours battery back-up or portable generator set. PC with licensed Operating System of Windows XP-SP2 or above.
- Two Printers. (Inkjet+ Dot Matrix)
- RAM having the minimum storage capacity of 512 MB
- Hard Disc Drive of at least 120 GB
- Digital Camera/ Web Cam
- Wired/ Wireless/V-SAT Connectivity
- Biometric/IRIS Authentication Scanner for Banking Services.
- CD/DVD Drive
- Total Estimated Cost per CSC will be 1.25 to 1.50 Lacs (Except Land & Building)
Fees
- The applicant has to pay the registration fee as prescribed.

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.

Need for the Document
- CSCs are points of access where people living in rural and remote locations can use the e-governance system to connect to government initiatives and services. These points provide people with the convenience of getting connected to different government schemes as well as services through the internet connection.
- A CSC is an IT enable front-end delivery points for Government, private and social sector services to rural citizens of India in an integrated and seamless manner. A CSC is managed by Local unemployed, educated youth providing opportunities for direct and indirect employment.

Objectives of the CSC Scheme
The following are the objectives of the CSC Scheme:
- To provide a centralized platform for the delivery of several services to the citizens in a transparent manner.
- To expand the scope of delivery of B2C and G2C services to rural citizens.
- To provide e-services under a single portal which makes the service delivery at CSCs transparent, accountable, traceable, and efficient.
The government provides Rs.11 for every transaction made at the Common Service Center.
