1. To obtain a replacement passport, applicants must go to a State Migration Service office (address to those offices are provided below).
2. Complete an application and send it together with these following documents:
   1. One colour photo 30?? x 40?? (a photo on a white background).
   2. Valid identification
   3. Certificate on loss or the passport theft, issued by law-enforcement bodies of Turkmenistan
3. Pay the application fee.

If you are outside Turkmenistan

1. For applicants outside Turkmenistan, you will need to obtain a certificate on loss or the passport theft, issued by the authorised bodies of the foreign country, and also the certificate for the homecoming, issued by diplomatic or consular missions of Turkmenistan in the foreign countries.
2. Go to the nearest Embassy of Turkmenistan and complete an application to obtain a replacement passport. You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Embassy of Turkmenistan in the country you are currently staying.
3. Submit the completed application together with the certificate of loss and other required documents.
4. Pay the application fee.
