Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant who would like to Apply for Tourist Vehicle (Class A) License in Ghana should contact the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Ghana. contact Link
2. Applicant has to approach the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Head Office in Ghana and applicant can get their application form.
3. Applicant must fill the all information in the application form.
4. Make sure that his/her have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page..
6. Attach all the required documents with the application form and submit them to the Secretary of the Board.
7. Then, the officials will proceed to perform the internal processes with respect to the applicant’s request.
8. Initially, the applicant’s attached documents and application form will be checked for sufficiency and appropriateness.
9. Then, the Board will verify whether the Dealership site adheres to the relevant requirements and regulations.
10. If found sufficient, further necessary tasks will be accomplished by the concerned officials for the issuance of license.
11. Once all the tasks and processes are over, applicant will be intimated to collect the license through any applicable means.
12. The processing time for this procedure is 2 days.

• Any registered owner of a Tourist Vehicle and who wishes to carry tourist business can apply for this Licence in Ghana.

License fees:

• Up to 7 passengers 200,000 GHS.
• Up to 20 passengers 300,000 GHS.
• Above 20 passengers 500,000 GHS.

• Validity period is 1 year.
