Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person
- The application (Encumbrance certificate) needs to be submitted to the nearest sub registrar’s office, take form 22.
- Fill in necessary details such as name, buyers, sellers etc.
- The documents that you will need are listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Attach the document sot the application form and submit it to the relevant authorities.
- You will have to pay a small fee.
- Upon submission, you will receive a receipt as well as an application number, you can use it to track the status of your application.
- You can download your certificate online.
Apply Online
- To apply online, the applicant must go to the official website. Here is the official website link
- If you are a first-time user, you will have to create an account.
- In the login tab click on “New registration”.
- Fill in details such as username, address, Identification number and contact details.
- Click on “Submit”, you will receive an OTP on your registered number, Enter it.
- You will be directed to another page that will tell you that a registration link has been sent to your email id.
- Go to your mail id and click on the link to activate your account.
- Now you can go back to the TREGINET portal and log in.
- Once logged in, click on the e-service tab and then click on “Encumbrance certificate”.
- Click on “Search and apply EC”.
- Enter details such as; zone, district, sub-registrar office, location, time, survey details and so on.
- Click on “search” and relevant details pertaining to what you have entered will be displayed.
- Click on “Apply online”.
- Enter your details and proceed to pay.
- Once you make the payment you will be provided with the bank reference number and other details, save this.
- Upon approval by the sub-registrar, your certificate will be sent to your TREGINET account.
- You can view this certificate if you go to e-service, encumbrance certificate and then click on “Request list”.

- Address proof of application candidate.
- Document of Property registration.
- Property Details & title deed details.
- Property sale deed/gift deed/partition deed/release deed.
- Deed number upon registration containing the date and book Number.
