South Africa - Get Incentives for Industrial Development Zones (IDZs)


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Get Incentives for Industrial Development Zones (IDZs), the applicant must go to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Office in South Africa. Contact Link
  2. The applicant must submit a proposal letter to the respective authorities in the DTI office.
  3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. All the necessary documents must be submitted to respective authorities in the DTI office.
  5. After verifying the documents completely, if the company qualifies the eligibility requirements set by the DTI board, then the approval for the Industrial Development Zones will be granted to the applicant.
  6. There are no fee or charges to file the incentive application.
  7. The processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

  • Any business owners of Manufacturing industries in South Africa are eligible to apply for the IDZ’s application.

  • No fees or charges are levied for the processing or evaluation of the applications.
