Singapore - Online Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Clearance)
Procedure
Apply via Agent
- To obtain a certificate of clearance a scanned copy of fingerprint is necessary. The applicant can book fingerprint appointment by contacting the criminal record office in Singapore (contact details was given in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page)
- The applicant can download the fingerprint form via the following fingerprint form
Note: Singapore Citizens applying for a Certificate of Clearance (COC) via log in with Singpass, are not required to submit fingerprint impression or book for a fingerprint appointment.
Apply Online
- To obtain Online Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Clearance), the applicant has to make their application via Singapore police force E- service portal or tap the following link
- The applicant has to login with either Singpass app or Singpass Id number and password (If you don’t not have an account you can register by clicking on “Register Singpass”, read the information marked 1 and 2 and agree to the terms and condition and click on register now, no the next page entry your personal information and submit. You will be issued with you Sing Pass ID number and password)
- The applicant has to fill necessary information and upload the required document that are mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
- After uploading the documents review the application and click submit.
- The applicant needs to pay the prescribed fee via credit or debit card.
- After the successful payment the applicant will receive an email, and the Singapore Police Force will post out the hardcopy of the license in 4 weeks.

- Self-Attested coloured scanned/photocopies of your passports (current & old
- Foreign Identification number (FIN – front/back)
- Applicant NRIC
- Documentary proof of last residential address in Singapore
- Copy of Residence Permit/Work Permit/Appointment Letter/Dependent Pass etc
- The purpose for PCC (Immigration Authority Letter) or Letter stating the reasons for PCC

Processing Time

Instructions
- COC Certifying that the applicant has never partaken in any criminal activity that led to the involvement of the (SPF), and is also required when a person applies for an immigration status to other countries. The person applying for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) are required to state the period of stay in Singapore. Documentary proof of stay is to be provided. First Entry and Last Exit date STAMP is also required. All pages of VISA (Colour Copy).

Need for the Document
- A Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to certify that a person has no Criminal Conviction within a stipulated period of time in Singapore.
