Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a land mortgage in Odisha, you will mandatorily need a non-encumbrance certificate.
2. To apply offline, you will have to go to the nearest Tehsil office in Odisha.

1. Visit the official website of the inspector general of the revenue and disaster management department.

3. On the right side under online services, click on “Online encumbrance certificate”.
4. If you already have an account, click on “Existing User”.
5. Click on Online registration, if you do not have an account.
6. Enter details to create an account.
7. Now log in.
8. Click on “Encumbrance certificate”.
9. Enter your details, details about your address and your property.
10. Click on “I agree”.
11. You will be directed to a page where you will have to pay a fee.
12. Click on “Pay”
13. Once you make payment, an application ID will be generated. Keep this safe.
14. Your application will be forwarded for approval.
15. You will receive a message once it has been approved and you can view it online by logging in again.
