9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. The applicant needs to save it for future reference.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. NERC will review the renewal application and documents to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
12. This process may include checks for compliance with regulations, operational performance, and other factors.
13. Depending on the type of license and NERC's assessment, a site visit or inspection might be conducted to verify the current status of the operations.
14. If a renewal application is approved, NERC will issue the renewed Power Transmission License.
15. This renewed license will grant the legal authority to continue operating to power transmission project according to the terms and conditions specified.
16. This entire process can be completed in 90 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
