• The Applicant must be
  • At least 14 years old.
  • A permanent resident of NSW.

• The name and birth date check is for $50.00.
• It costs $197.20 to check someone's name, date of birth, and fingerprints.
• It costs $15.00 to volunteer in Commonwealth Aged Care only.
• Applications that call for a printed certificate to be mailed to the applicant must pay an extra $5 cost.

• A National Police Certificate is a point-in-time check, and the outcomes are based on police records as of the release date.
• The organisation that needs the check will decide what is a reasonable amount of time for them to accept a certificate.
