1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Nagaland must visit the Nagaland Pollution Control Office: Link
2. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
3. Submit the letter to the pollution control officer.
4. The officer will issue a receipt for further reference along with a complaint number.
5. No fee is required for this procedure.
6. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
7. The complaint status can be checked by visiting the Portal: Link.
8. On the homepage, click the “Grievance Redressal” button. Then, on the new page, click on the “Know Your Complaint Status” option.
9. Enter the “Complaint number” from the receipt and click on the “View Status” button.
10. Any steps taken towards the complaint will be notified through SMS or Email.

2. On the homepage, click the “Grievance Redressal” button.
3. Then, on the new page, click on the “Lodge Your Complaint” option.
4. Fill in the details like name, contact details, pollution source, and location details. Write down the complaint details in the “Remarks” box.
5. Then, upload any relevant documents by clicking on the “Choose File” button. Then, click the “Submit” button.
6. A receipt with the Complaint Number will be generated.
7. The complaint status can be checked by revisiting the Portal: Link.
8. On the homepage, click the “Grievance Redressal” button. Then, on the new page, click on the “Know Your Complaint Status” option.
9. Enter the “Complaint number” from the receipt and click on the “View Status” button.
10. Any steps taken towards the complaint will be notified through SMS or Email.
