Apply In-Person:

1. To Renew Registration as a Veterinary Practitioner (Veterinary Council), the applicant has to approach the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services – link
2. The applicant has to visit the office to get the form from the department.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry the originals and photocopies of the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies of the documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Fee must be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, then, renewal of registration will be done within 15 days.
8. If the renewal has not been done within a month, then, the applicant has to visit the office to know details on their application.

The documents that are required for the application process is listed below:

• Self-Attested Copy of Degree Certificates (B.V.Sc. and A.H.)
• Lid Registration ID Card (Original)
• Two passport size photographs

• Applicant should follow all the instructions provided by the authority carefully.

• Applicant Name
• Father’s or Husband’s Name
• Nationality
• Address
• Date of Birth
• E-mail ID
• Employment status with detail
• Basic veterinary qualifications possessed by the applicant
• Registration Number
  

• Veterinary practitioner registration is necessary for legally practicing.
• Renewal of registration must be done for continuing the veterinary practicing for another year.
