Kenya - Replace National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Card

National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a pension scheme to which every Kenyan with an income shall contribute a percentage of his/her gross earnings, so as to be guaranteed basic compensation in case of permanent disability, basic assistance to needy dependants in case of death and a monthly life pension upon retirement. Apply in Person

  1. National Social Security Fund (NSSF) members can apply for replacement of their NSSF card in the case where the card is lost or defaced at any of the regional NSSF offices or huduma centres located countrywide.
  2. In case the application is filed to Huduma Centre, visit the NSSF desk and seek assistance from there. Applicants will be directed accordingly by the attendants or customer care personnel.
  3. Applicant should Present their National Identity Card (ID) (original ID or a copy) for verification. The application shall be accompanied by proof of payment of Kshs 200, which is the fee charged for acquiring a duplicate card.
  4. Once the applicant’s ID card has been verified, the NSSF officer assigned to the applicant will assess the necessary information and re-generate your lost NSSF membership card.
  5. The process is instant and the applicant will be issued with a duplicate membership card instantly, once everything has been processed.
