1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Gujarat must visit the concerned Gujarat Water Supply and Drainage Board office. The address of the office is available in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section.
2. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue.
3. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
4. Duly sign the letter and submit it along with proof (if any) to the officer incharge in the Gujarat Water Supply and Drainage Board office.
5. No fee is required for this procedure.
6. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
7. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.

1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Gujarat must visit the Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board website link
2. On the homepage, click on "Complaint" option and then select "Complaint Now".
3. Fill in the e-form that appears on the next page with name, gender, contact details and address details.
4. Select the complaint type and the sub-type. Enter the captcha and fill in a detailed report of the complaint in the box given.
5. Click on the “Complaint Save” button once every detail is filled in.
6. An e-receipt will be generated.
7. Revisit the website to know your complaint status: -link
8. On the homepage, click on "Complaint" option and then select "Complaint Now".
9. Enter your mobile number and provide the OTP generated.
10. Enter the captcha and click “Find Status.”
11. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.

A complaint is valid until the authorities carry out the necessary solutions.
