1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Gujarat must visit the Pollution control office. Click on the following link to find the address of each district link
2. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
3. Submit the letter to the pollution control officer.
4. The officer will issue a receipt for further reference with an application number.
5. No fee is required for this procedure.
6. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
7. To check the status of your complaint, visit the Gujarat Pollution Control website link and click on the “XGN Login” button on the menu.
8. On the new page, select the drop-down box with the words “Select” written on it. Select “Application Status” under the option, and a new table will appear. Enter the “Application Number” and click the “Go” button.
9. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified through SMS or Email.

2. On the homepage, click on the “E-Citizen” drop-down box. Under that, click on the “Feedback” option.
3. On the next page, enter your name and contact details. Then, select the office you want to address the complaint to and the city.
4. Upload files pertaining to the complaint, if any, by clicking on the “Choose File” button.
5. In the “Comments” box, fill in the details of the complaint. Then, enter the “Captcha” and click the “Send” button.
6. The complaint will be registered, and a receipt with “Application Number” will be generated.
7. To check the status of your complaint, revisit the Gujarat Pollution Control website and click on the “XGN Login” button on the menu.
8. On the new page, select the drop-down box with the words “Select” written on it. Select “Application Status” under the option, and a new table will appear. Enter the “Application Number” and click the “Go” button.
9. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified through SMS or Email.
