An International Driving Permit can only be issued to applicants who:

• Hold a Gibraltar driving licence covering the type of vehicle for which the IDP is required

• Permanently resident in Gibraltar

Explain the fees structure which is required for obtaining the certificate/document.

An International Driving Permit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be renewed at any time within five years of first being issued.
