Apply In-Person:

1. The Taxi Permit is issued by the Chief Executive in Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
2. The applicant should obtain the application form from the authorities in the LTA office or else you can download it from the website. Application Form
3. The Taxi Permit application are received from three (3) Transport Zones in Fiji, namely, Nadi 1, Nadi 2, and Lautoka 1.
4. The application should be submitted within 21 days from the date of advertisement by the LTA.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then you should it to the Chief Executive officer in LTA.
7. The application form must be submitted along with the prescribed fee payment receipt.
8. The official in LTA will verify the application by checking the Taxi Permit requirement and Eligibility.
9. If the applicant meets all the eligibility criteria, then they will be issued Taxi Permit by Fiji’s Land transport Authority.

• The applicant must be a natural person.
• The applicant must be 21 years or above.
• The applicant must be a Fiji Citizen or must hold a Dual Citizenship.
• The applicant should reside in the particular Transport zone that they are applying to.
• The applicant should not have any criminal offense record.
• The applicant should not have held a Taxi Permit before.
• The total household income of the applicant must be below $20,000.
• All Convicted TINs must be cleared by the applicant.
• Applicant should not be a holder of 2 or more permits.
  

• Annual PSV Taxi Permit Fee - $9.48
• 3 years PSV Taxi Permit Fee - $28.91
  

There are validity for Taxi Permit. After that the validity period, the permit be renewed.

• One year Annual Fee Permit is valid for One year.
• Three year Annual Fee Permit is valid for Three years.
