2. Application form will provide by the authority
3. Applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry documents that are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
5. Applicant has to attach the required documents along with the application form.
6. Applicant has to pay the prescribed fee and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
7. Upon submission of the application documents the authority shall carry out an in-depth document evaluation to verify that they are authentic, relate to the aircraft, genuine, and are valid as applicable.
8. After a satisfactory document evaluation, the applicant shall be advised to facilitate the Authority inspectors to access the aircraft at a time and place acceptable to the Authority, for such checks and inspections required by the Authority;
9. This will be followed by airworthiness flight tests. This are carried out by pilots and crew approved for the purpose and in accordance with a flight test schedule acceptable to the Authority.
10. Except where the Authority requires additional crew to be carried for a particular airworthiness flight test, the number of persons conducting the test should be confined to the crew specified in the Flight manual.
11. After successful documents evaluation and flight inspection the applicant is required to facilitate and to make arrangements for the Authority inspectors to carry out the aircraft inspection for C of A issuance.
12. The aircraft should be located and available, at a time and place acceptable to the Authority, for such checks and inspections required by the Authority.
13. When the Authority is satisfied that all the applicable regulatory requirements have been complied with, the Certificate of Airworthiness will be renewed.
14. The whole process takes a period of 14 days to complete.

• The aircraft Airworthiness Directives (AD) status report.
• A statement of compliance with the authority requirements and manufactures service bulletins.
• Aircraft previous twelve (12) months maintenance review report.
• Lifed components status report.
• Current Mass and Balance schedule report.
• Copy of latest major scheduled maintenance certificate release to service.
• Copy of the current certificate of release to service (if different from (f) above.
• Record of the aircraft equipment and systems installations.
• Copy of the current aircraft Radio Station licence.
• Current Stand-by compass swing schedule report. (as may be required).
• Copy of the aircraft certificate of insurance.
• A C of A renewal test flight schedule report (as may be required).
• Current Annual readout reports for Cockpit Voice Recorder and Flight Data Recorder.
• Current Pilot Static System Test Report.
• Any other documents as the Authority may require.
• Proof of payment of the C of A renewal prescribed fee.

The aircraft continued airworthiness depends upon:

• The aircraft being maintained in accordance and in compliance with the aircraft maintenance program approved by the Authority;
• The aircraft being in compliance with all applicable state of manufacture mandatory modifications, inspections and airworthiness directives; and
• The aircraft being operated within the performance and operating limitations of its approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and in compliance with The Civil Aviation Regulations.

• Fee for the procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.

• The validity period is twelve months.

• Wait for evaluation and inspection by the Authority
• Wait for the processing period to elapse then collect your renewed Certificate of Airworthiness

• Details of current certificate of airworthiness
• Details of certificate applied for (commercial air transport (passengers), commercial air transport (cargo), aerial work, general aviation or special operations)
• Name and address of approved organization/licensed aircraft maintenance personnel with whom aircraft is available for inspection
• Name of company representative
• Signature
• Date

• A Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) is required for the aircraft as an attestation that the aircraft has been maintained in accordance with an approved aircraft maintenance program, and is in compliance with applicable airworthiness and safety requirements as stipulated in the Civil Aviation (Airworthiness) Regulations .
• In addition, the aircraft must have a type certificate that has been accepted by the Authority in accordance with the Civil Aviation (Airworthiness) Regulations.
