Apply In-Person:

1. Renewal of Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) is done at the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority contact link
2. Applicant has to get the form from the respective authority.
3. Applicant has to enter all information that is mentioned under “Required Information” section of this page.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must have both photocopies and originals of the required documents.
6. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is required) along with the application form while submitting.
7. Fee for this procedure is given in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Upon the successful registration, the renewal of license will be issued within 7days.

Eligibility for this procedure

• Age should be 18 and above
• Should need current CLASS- 1 medical certificate
• The person who have good writing, reading and understanding of English.

• Renewal of ATC license for applicant under 40years – 4000birr is charged.
• Renewal of ATC license for applicant over 40years – 2000birr is charged.
