CALABARZON - TESDA National Certificate (NC) / Certificate of Competency (COC)

This procedure explains various ways to TESDA National Certificate (NC) / Certificate of Competency (COC) in CALABARZON.

  1. To apply for the procedure, go to any TESDA Accredited Assessment Centers/TESDA District or Provincial Office near your location (see 'Office Locations & Contacts' for a list TESDA Regional/Provincial Offices) and apply for assessment.
  2. Submit the completed application form together with the following documentary requirements:
    1. Properly and completely filled-out Self Assessment Guide of your chosen qualification;
    2. Three (3) pieces of colored and passport size picture, white background, with collar and with name printer at the back;
  3. Pay the Assessment Fee at the Assessment Center Cashier. Do not forget to collect your Official Receipt and Admission Slip.
  4. Be present at the scheduled date and assigned venue of assessment indicated in the Admission Slip. DONT FORGET TO BRING YOUR ADMISSION SLIP ON YOUR ASSESSMENT DATE.
  5. Get the Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS) at the Assessment Center.
  6. Those who have passed the assessment must apply for certification at the TESDA District/Provincial Office where the assessment center/venue is under jurisdiction.
  7. You may claim your National Certificate (NC)/Certificate of Competency (COC) seven (7) working days after application for the issuance of COC/NC. When claiming your certificate:
    1. The certificate must be released directly to the applicant. However, if to be claimed by a representative, a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) by the applicant should be submitted.
    2. Assessment Results (CARS), Official Receipt issued by Assessment Centers and valid Identification Card (ID) should be also presented upon claiming of COCs.

Note: NTC issued Memorandum Order No. 10-10-2017 last October 27, 2017, directing all telecommunications providers in the country to migrate all its customers to eight-digit telephone numbers.

A customer who still incorrectly dials the old seven-digit number will hear a special announcement saying the format has been changed to eight-digit, for a period of three months after the migration (March 18, 2019 to June 17, 2019).
