1. The Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) provides an advisory role to the livestock farming community and also sells veterinary requisites. BAMB branch contacts.
2. Interested farmers who wish to be educated and advised in Veterinary Service or products should visit the nearest BAMB office, which has trained and qualified Sales Agents to offer appropriate advice to the farmer.
3. Verbally provide all information as requested by the marketing and sale officer, who will then assess it and provide you with the required information.
4. The BAMB also sale and provide the following veterinary requisites services to livestock farmers;
   • Vaccines: provide vaccines for livestock and poultry.
   • Acaricides/Dips: sale of dips for cattle and small stock including pour-ons and water-soluble dips.
   • Anthelmintic/DE wormers: sale of oral and injectable forms of DE wormers for livestock.
   • Instruments: for better animal husbandry practices, BAMB stocks and sells burdizzos, syringes, and needles, dehorning irons, etc.
   • Antibiotics and supplements: sale of over-the-counter drugs/medications and also sells mineral and vitamin supplements for better animal health and production.

Local farmers are eligible to apply.

No fee will be charged for the veterinary advice. However the veterinary products will be charged; i.e. vaccines, dips, de-wormers, antibiotics, veterinary instruments, antibiotics, mineral and vitamin supplements for livestock and poultry.
