How to apply:

1. You should contact the Ministry of Transport and Communications or permit-issuing offices at any of the Department of Road Transport and Safety officesnear youfor more information on how to file the application.
2. Accurately fill in the application form, (Form RTS 1 - Application for Initial Grand or Amendment or Renewal of Road Transport Permit) which can be obtained from the above offices.
3. Submit the completed form along with the required supporting documentation (as listed below)to the Transport Controller at any of the permit-issuing offices for verification and processing.
4. If the licencing issuing office issatisfied that you have complied with the all conditions as set for the application of the permit, he or she will then issue you with Permit immediately upon payment of the required fees.

• Vehicle registration document (blue book or other from country of origin).
• National Photo ID or Omang (for locals).
• Certificate of Incorporation (for companies only).
• Shareholder Certificate (for companies only).
• Copy of company directors' national photo IDs (for companies).
• Vehicle's Roadworthiness Certificate (where vehicles are foreign-registered, the certificate from that country is acceptable).
