1. Fill up the CID application form endorsed by the gewog officials and civil registration officials from the place of registration.
2. Those who will be submitting their application for the first time must submit them to the gewog office.
3. Attached a passport size photograph on the application form and the gewog office must stamp on the corner of the photograph.
4. Pay the application fee.
5. The Dzongkhag Civil Registration and Census Office may send the card/permit at the gewog level through the Gup.
6. The applicant has an option to collect the new CID/SRP card from DCRCO/ Thromde/ DCRC HQ, as long as the applicant has indicated where they would like to receive the document in their application form.

Individuals who are registered with DCRC / MOHCA and are aged 15 years or older at the time of application are eligible to obtain a Citizenship Identity (CID) Card / Special Resident Permit.

A fee of Nu. 100 is payable at the time the application is to be submitted. Do not forget to collect your receipt from the collecting agent.
