Apply In-Person

1. To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the Employee Verification form from the nearest police station in Assam Assam Police Stations
2. You can also download the form online and print it from the link: Application form.
3. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
4. Provide the complete description of the employee in the section provided for the same.
5. Mention the employee’s friend’s or relative’s information.
6. Provide the voluntary fingerprints of the employee if necessary.
7. Provide the required information about the employer.
8. Affix the passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
9. Attach Photocopy of Photo ID proofs of the employee.
10. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
11. Pay the processing fee if required.
12. Receive the acknowledgment receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
13. Follow up to know the status of your report, and visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
    

Note: Make sure you carry the original Id proofs with you for cross verification.

Apply Online : - Apply to get Employee (Job) Verification Online with Images

1. To apply for an Employee Verification online, one has to login to Assam’s Citizen Portal Apply Online
2. If you are a new user, create a new user account with your details Citizen Registration.
3. Now login with your account and select Employee Verification.
4. Fill in all the required details of the employer in the given window.
5. Fill in the required details of the employee.
6. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified file size and format (Check required documents section for further details).
7. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
8. Pay the processing fee if required.
9. After submission, you will receive your Service Request No. through SMS or E-Mail.
10. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
11. You can check the status of your application online, by selecting the “Service Status” option and entering your Name, Date of Birth, and the Service request No.
12. You will receive the report online in your registered mail id.

• Residence Certificate Issued By SDM/Teshildar
• Any photo identity proof of the employee and the employer from the following:

• Anyone from Assam who wants to verify an employee.
• The Employee should be 18 years and above.

• Please inquire about the processing fee while applying in person.
• For online application, fee details would be provided if required.

• There is no validity period for this Verification Report.
• It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
• The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

• While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with the police before employing them.
• This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

• When one applies for such verification, the police verifies the submitted information, and the employee’s details are stored with the police.
• This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
• Usually, in the event of a crime, the police would be left with zero information about the employee's details. However, the information gained through the employee registration process would help the police to track such crimes.
