Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for Wildlife Transport Permit License in Arunachal Pradesh is available in the Arunachal Pradesh Transport Department contact link
2. Applicants can visit the transport department or Forest department and applicant can get their application form for wildlife transport permit /license.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.( Both photocopies and originals)
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the transport permit license will be provided within 30 days.
8. If there is no information provided regarding license by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
9. If an application is rejected, the license fee shall be non-refunded.
10. The Processing time for `this procedure takes 4-6 weeks.

• A wildlife transportation permit shall be obtained for all shipments of wildlife (native or exotic) prior to:
• Receiving a shipment of wildlife;
• Importing wildlife into India; or.
• Transporting wildlife into and through the state to a destination outside of India.

• There are two types of wildlife transportation permits:
• An individual wildlife transportation permit shall be valid for one shipment of wildlife.
• An annual wildlife transportation permit shall be valid for multiple wildlife shipments.
• All shipments of wildlife, excepting reptiles and amphibians, shall be accompanied by a certificate of veterinary inspection.
